Happy Birthday!

Happy birthday to mee...happy birthday to mee....yeah!! its the same time of the year again and m celebrating my 25th birthday today. This year is going to be very eventful and new people are destined to be added into life and family.

Today is a special day for me and mum dad. Unlike last year, when we celebrated birthday by watching 3 Idiots,, this time we have thrown a grand party at our place. Partying with your favourite people is what makes the special day more special.

Since m d eldest of the lot,,i have bought some return gifts for my kid cousions. I hope they will like it. I have decided a stationary kit for my school going kidos and pen stands for collegiates. Mumma is gifting a bamboo mats to all aunt. All these gifts are token of love, a memory, a rememberence. All other preparation are making their way...hope we host a good memorable party.

Manmade marvel - Meenakshi Amman Temple at Madurai

Meenakshi Amman Temple at Madurai is one amongst the several wonders of India. Famous for its architecture, the temple is huge and each statue carved on it is one amongst itself.   The temple has four gates i.e. north gate, south gate, east gate and west gate. Entry is allowed only from north gate, which is considered as auspicious.  Some glimpses of the temple built several centuries before. One of the elephants guarding the shiva temple. Sweet memories from 90s!

Lets confess, we all loved those colourful sweet balls called toffees and candies. Every kid's prized possession, one look at them now will take you to back down the memory lane. For those born in mid 80s, these toffees were permament attractions and now are the fondest memories. For people like us, they are also the symbol of simple and less complicated life back then. Lets take some time to feel the way we used to feel back then and live a part of our childhood, a feeling so special and full of nostalgia: Still catch on one of those! The Dollar Bite! A family treat after dinners Melody hai choclaty...dekho kaisi choclaty! our very own..white choclate! Coffee ya Toffee!?! Baratiyon ka swagat tto pan pasand se hoga! The orange candies! The tranparent ones made them look so attractive Just a glimpse of these and our mind wanders through the times we used to play on streets & backlanes carefree. The days where we used to wait for eve...
